CORE3 is composed of several interdependent components designed to work together as a unified trust, transparency, and self-regulation system. Each component can be used independently, but the full value of CORE3 emerges when they are combined.

Project probability of loss (PoL) — crypto project risk assessment

Probability of Loss (PoL) is CORE3’s unbiased, shared, and data-driven metric designed to reflect a project’s risk exposure on a scale from 0 (Exceptional) to 100 (Critical risk). The metric was designed to create a unified risk language on the crypto market, suitable for investors, builders, and institutions. The Project PoL Rating provides a structured assessment of a project’s risk of financial loss or operational failure. It evaluates:

Security risks

Financial stability

Operational risks

Reputational risks

Regulatory & compliance

Dependency risks

The rating is risk-focused, not performance-focused: it does not measure market returns or token price appreciation but reflects the likelihood of loss for stakeholders based on verifiable data and analysis. This makes it a risk score for digital assets grounded in measurable parameters rather than narrative.

Project PoL methodology

The Project PoL Methodology defines the rules, inputs, and assumptions used to calculate Project PoL Ratings. It includes:
  • List of metrics
  • Described logic behind each of the metric
  • Risk factor weighting and aggregation logic
  • Update frequency
The methodology is publicly documented and versioned, ensuring transparency, reproducibility, and auditability.

CEX Probability of Loss (PoL) — Crypto Exchange Risk Assessment

The CEX PoL Rating assesses an exchange’s risk of financial loss or operational disruption that could affect user funds. It focuses on:

Security risks

Solvency

Transparency

CEX PoL Ratings support both real-time monitoring and historical risk analysis, helping institutional and retail users make informed decisions.

Workspaces — Crypto analytics tools for active risk management

Workspaces are CORE3’s primary interaction layer. They organize data, analytics, and functionality around specific user roles and workflows.
Each workspace is tailored to specific user types — retail investors, institutions, project teams, and regulators — with appropriate data access levels.
Beyond standard PoL scores, workspaces surface granular metrics, domain breakdowns, and historical trends.
Monitor PoL changes across your holdings and watchlisted entities in a single dashboard.
Get alerted when risk profiles shift — whether due to security incidents, reserve changes, or compliance developments.
Where applicable, submit data, disclosures, and supplementary evidence directly through the workspace interface.
Workspaces enable users to move beyond passive data consumption toward active risk management, oversight, and analysis. They function as crypto analytics tools built for operational use, not passive browsing.

APIs — Programmatic access to risk data on digital assets

API is not available in the pilot phase, but will be launched with CORE3 release in Q2 2026
CORE3 APIs provide programmatic access to PoL data, ratings, and associated metadata. APIs are designed for:
  • Institutional integrations
  • Third-party analytical tools
  • Monetization opportunity
  • CORE3 platform popularization tool
Access levels, data scope, and rate limits are tied to subscription tiers, ensuring secure and controlled distribution of CORE3 data while maintaining integrity guarantees. CORE3 APIs serve as a crypto data provider for institutions and ecosystem partners requiring machine-readable risk intelligence.

Component interdependency

Methodologies inform PoL ratings

Transparent, versioned methodologies define how risk is measured and scored across all entities.

Ratings are surfaced through workspaces and APIs

Scores and domain breakdowns are delivered through tailored interfaces and programmatic access points.

User submissions improve data completeness

Projects and exchanges contribute additional disclosures, creating a continuously improving feedback loop.
This structure allows CORE3 to function as a continuously improving risk and oversight system rather than a static dataset.
